Egyptian Papyrus Drawing Man and Wife on Nile

Protected by the winged eyes of Horus, this lovely couple paddles up the Nile in their reed boat. This drawing is made on authentic Egyptian Papyrus paper, and carefully hand drawn in India Ink and high quality illustration markers.

This drawing is inspired by a scene taken from an actual text in the Book of the Dead. A beautiful blue lotus motif was added along the bottom, and colorful details are found throughout the entire drawing.
